Cask Strength Rye Whiskey

We are very excited to announce our latest product, a very limited release of cask strength rye whiskey. This is our oldest rye batch yet, at close to 3 years of age. Made from a mash bill of 70% rye and 30% malted barley, it is bottled at 112.2 proof. We have just 350 bottles available. This is an exciting product for those who have enjoyed bottles of our standard rye and those who appreciate cask strength whiskies. We also have very exciting news coming for this product on the national awards scene (can't announce it yet though...🤫)

Cask strength whiskey is notorious for having more bite, in this case it has 25% higher alcohol content than our standard rye, but it also offers rich and intense, undiluted flavor and character of the whiskey.

Because of the exceptionally small number of bottles and pre-sales, we have a limited allocation on the first order. If you are an account and would like to set up a tasting, please get in touch with our sales reps, or write me back directly. I'd love to drop by and taste with you! This product can be included mix-and-match with our other products as well, to get best pricing. If you are a customer, please ask about it at your local bottle shop.

Cheers and thank you for your continued support!

Heritage California Single Malt in the works!

Beyond excited about what we have going on over at Admiral Maltings in Alameda right now! This is our Mattole Valley/Humboldt County grown heritage barley, germinating on the malting floor this week. Today it goes in the kiln. We can’t wait to make this into American Single Malt! This will be a true terroir Northern California Single Malt. Grown in the rural coastal valley where we grew up, on small family farms, and custom malted using traditional floor malting methods at Admiral in Alameda. Next we will mill, mash, distill and barrel age it in Oakland. Can’t wait to share this with you in a few years.
